In these historic days, we as the Church must show the love of Christ to the world in such a way that is undeniable. In the midst of such chaotic times as these, there is the constancy of God. He is sovereign. He is God Almighty. He is “I AM”.
As a precaution and to obey the decisions that are being made by our President and his committees, we will be suspending ALL services until Sunday, April 5, 2020. If the need arises that we should have to continue longer than April 5, myself and the deacons will make that call and then let our church family know.
I would also encourage each of us to pray to our Father and seek His wisdom, healing, and protection for this fallen world. We must be the light in this darkened world. People are scared to the point of deep desperation and they are looking for an answer. We know The Answer – Our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Let us fill this world with His love and show the lost The Way, The Truth and The Life!
God has used this crisis, in His Divine Providence, to slow down our lives and remove everything that distracts us from truly following Him. Think about it for a moment: no school, no athletics, no eating out, no movies, nothing to distract us from the importance of our greatest need – God Himself. He is setting aside all of the things that consume our time so that at the end of the day, we’ve been too “busy” to be alone with our Father. Let’s use this time, Church, to draw closer to our Father and allow Him to revive us from such hollow pursuits and redirect us to spend time with our families, caring for our neighbor, and being refreshed and transformed by the renewing of our minds through His Word.
Sunday morning at 10:30am, please go to our Facebook page and view our continuing study in the Gospel of Luke. Just because the church building is closed, doesn’t mean that the Church is closed. Let us worship together in this 21st century.
I am also encouraging all of us to continue supporting God’s ministry at Tucapau. Please mail your Tithes and Offerings to:

“While they say to me all day long, ‘Where is your God?’ Why are you in despair, O my soul? And why have you become disturbed within me? Hope in God, for I shall praise Him, The help of my countenance and my God”
Soli Deo gloria!
